Sr. Infrastructure Engineer (Network Engineer)- Hickory, NC
Salary + Bonus + Great Benefits (including a 401k match & a Pension).
Ø This person would be responsible for the engineering, implementation, troubleshooting and support of the various components that make up company’s wireless network infrastructure. This infrastructure today consists of over 800 access points at 105 sites.
Ø Maintaining documentation to reflect the current operating environments at each of the companies. This includes both wired and wireless.
Ø Engineering, troubleshooting and support of our retail stores’ DMVPN infrastructure. This infrastructure today consists of over 100 Cisco routers and 300 Cisco switches.
Ø Engineering, troubleshooting and support of the data center infrastructure. Today this infrastructure consists of Cisco Nexus 7K’s, 5K’s and 3K’s.
Ø This person should have experience in analyzing sniffer trace files to determine the root cause of poor application performance and failures on both wired and wireless networks.
Ø A minimum of 2 years of college and 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of experience with wireless technologies, preferably Cisco.
Ø Effective technical writing and documentation skills.
Ø Experience with Cisco Unified Communications and support of Cisco UCS technologies.
Ø Bachelor’s degree in a management or technology related field with 10 years’ experience with wireless technologies and with routing and switching technologies, preferably Cisco.
Ø Any networking certifications would be a strong plus.
